I am currently taking reservations for Vite's next litter in 2011.
About “Vite” (the Dam)
CH HuntersHeart Prairiestorm Vite (shown here) is an incredibly fast, eager, healthy young liver female. She is an avid hunter with 2/3 legs required for her FDJ field title. She's also showing amazing potential in agility and obedience. Vite is OFA Good, CERF (Nov. 2009). Her elbows and patellae are normal, and she comes from lines that are free from epilepsy and have consistently produced great Brittanys. Vite is the daughter of National Specialty Winner BISS Can/Mex/Int'l CH ATChC HuntersHeart Big Chief FDJ CDX RE CGC. Watch videos of Vite in action at: http://www.youtube.com/user/carlalsimon

Cost and Details
First and foremost, my Brittanys are pets who share my home and my life. I breed occasionally, striving for health, temperament and versatility (as we enjoy hunting, showing, obedience and agility). Our Brittanys have great noses, and are a pleasure to hunt over (we mostly find grouse in the foothills). Their eagerness to please helps make these Brittanys great companions for families who enjoy an active lifestyle.
Puppies are ready to go to their new homes no earlier than 12 weeks of age (at the end of October). Included in the price is all of the socialization and early fun training as possible in the time they're with us, deworming, vaccination and health checks by a vet, microchip, CKC registration papers and our written guarantee.
Good conformation isn't just an asset in the show ring; balanced structure allows healthy dogs with fewer injuries, who will enjoy working even when they're older. We have never seen epilepsy in our lines, and Hunter's Heart Brittanys have been OFA'd (against hip dysplasia) and CERF'd (against eye diseases).
As a Canine Good Neighbour Evaluator and former Behavior Assessor at the Calgary Humane Society, I gained a lot of experience evaluating good and risky temperaments. Our lines have excellent temperaments. Our puppies' temperaments are guaranteed in writing, as long as you meet the requirement of attending a puppy socialization class. Please note that show, breeding and competition puppies are placed first, before family pets. Once I know what qualities a family is looking for, I conduct puppy testing to pick a puppy for you that suits your family and the types of work your dog will perform.
A puppy is a lifetime commitment. I will take the dog back at any age for any reason. Only one family has ever returned their dog to me; you are welcome to visit us to judge her quality for yourself.
All puppy owners must sign a purchase contract, non breeding agreement, and paperwork from the Canadian Kennel Club. We give our puppies the very best start with extensive socialization. But when you bring your puppy home you need to continue socializing and training to make sure he/she is a joy to live with rather than a problem adult. You need to exercise your athletic Brittany appropriately every day.
Reserving a Puppy
Don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like more information about Hunter's Heart Brittanys or to arrange to meet the dogs.
The first step in reserving a puppy is to email me to request the screening form. Provided that I approve you as a good home for a Brittany, I will then accept your $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your puppy.
