The following is a list of classes in Calgary that make a special effort to include children & teens.
The
Educated Canine (SE Calgary)

- Fun, non-competitive, small group classes in dog obedience
training. Instructors give individual attention, and include
children in care & training of the puppy/dog. While some
other classes allow kids to come with their parent & watch the
class, Sandra Howarth encourages kids to practice handling their family
pet during class (and at home).
- Puppy classes (require
third puppy vaccination).
- Novice classes teach the basic commands & behavioral problem solving, e.g. handling jumping up,
chewing (1 hr/week for
9 weeks, most puppies are 5-8 months old).
- Intermediate classes polish skills learned in Novice, e.g.
off-leash work.
Adds fun introduction to agility. (1
hr/week for 9 weeks).

- Kids & Dogs Companion Classes. An 8 week motivational training course for your child & family dog.
- This school also offers clicker training, grooming, manners. Levels of obedience classes: beginners, novice & competitive.
